Brendan Rodgers says his side are returning to their best form ahead of Celtic's Europa League Group B clash with RB Leipzig in Germany.

Celtic are level on three points with their Bundesliga opponents having beaten Rosenborg 1-0 before falling to a 3-1 defeat to RB Salzburg.

However, Rodgers believes his side's domestic form means they can enter the crunch clash in full confidence.

"We are going to be playing against a top team but we have to show our way and our method of play," he said.

"When we do that, we know, we can cause problems. It's pretty clear they are a very good side. The next two games are going to be very important. To have the opportunity to take a result from the game, we need to perform at a high level. We know how to do that and we've brought our form back into the game.

"For us, it's about starting the game well and being consistent in the performance. We know we have to defend well. We come here with confidence. Our last couple of performances domestically have been very good. The speed of our game is returning."

Leipzig, meanwhile, had won their last four matches before a goalless draw with Augsburg at the weekend. Their head coach Ralf Rangnick is wary of the threat the Scottish Premiership champions pose.

He said: "We know what kind of football Brendan Rodgers likes to play. We expect a good, technical side, who will try to bring their full-backs into the game.

"The two games against Celtic will decide who will progress to the knockout stages. We desperately want to win tomorrow. There will be a special atmopshere in the stadium, which both the players and fans can look forward to."

    Charlie's prediction

I worry for Celtic here. I do not really fancy our chances as the German side have proven to be really strong at home and we all know Celtic can struggle away from home in Europe.
