Highlights of the Sky Bet League One match between Reading and AFC Wimbledon.

Reading remain without a point in their new League One campaign following a ragged 2-1 defeat at home to AFC Wimbledon.

The Dons led 1-0 at half-time thanks to a 32nd-minute header from Matty Stevens and their advantage through Marcus Browne's second-half effort.

A late Lewis Wing thunderbolt proved only a consolation for Reading as they slumped to a third-successive defeat and were booed off at the end.

The Royals should have gone ahead early on but, after an incisive quick break, winger Andre Garcia blazed the ball high and wide of an open goal.

The Dons took advantage of the let off, going in front just past the half-hour mark from Nathan Asiimwe's inviting cross.

Stevens rose alone in the area to nod firmly past home goalkeeper Joel Pereira for his second goal of the season.

Reading exerted sporadic pressure after the interval but Wimbledon were soon back on the offensive and increased their lead in the 70th minute.

A clever free-kick routine produced space on the edge of the Royals area and Browne's deflected drive wrong-footed Pereira.

Wing gave the hosts hope as he lashed the ball home from 25 yards in the 86th minute, but it was too little, too late.
