Highlights of the Sky Bet League One match between Reading and Huddersfield.

Lee Grant's fine start to his managerial career continued as Huddersfield secured a hard-earned 2-0 victory at Reading in League One.

Jack Whatmough put the visitors ahead in the 74th minute before substitute Cameron Ashia sealed three points in the third minute of stoppage time.

Grant, who left his coaching role at Ipswich in May to take his first job in management, has seen his Huddersfield side win their first two games after an opening-day 3-0 success against Leyton Orient.

Reading, playing a first home league game in front of new club owner Rob Couhig, went close when winger Daniel Kyerewaa turned neatly in the Town area and shot narrowly over.

Royals home goalkeeper Joel Pereira then had to make a flying stop, tipping over Joe Taylor's well-struck drive after smart work by Mickel Miller.

Taylor was again denied by Pereira soon after the interval, before Town keeper Owen Goodman was forced to react quickly to turn away a deflected attempt from Ben Elliott.

Huddersfield went ahead when Pereira failed to deal with a Miller corner and Whatmough pounced to jab home the loose ball.

The home defence was again found wanting when Ashia volleyed in precisely to condemn the Royals to their second consecutive defeat.
