Italy will be without suspended duo Domenico Berardi and Andrea Conti when they take on Spain in their European U21 Championship semi-final on Tuesday, live on Sky Sports.
Berardi and Conti each picked up their second bookings of the tournament in Italy's 1-0 victory over Germany that sealed their progress as Group C winners.
Spain topped Group B after winning all three of their matches, scoring nine goals and conceding just one en route to the last four.
Spanish coach Albert Celades made 11 changes for their final group game - a 1-0 win over Serbia - but he is expected to revert to his strongest XI for Tuesday's semi-final in Krakow.
That could mean recalls for Saul Niguez, Hector Bellerin and Marco Asensio, who were all unused substitutes against Serbia.
Celades anticipates a difficult game against Italy despite the absence of Berardi and Conti.
He told his pre-match press conference: "We're playing a team with very good players and a very good collective organisation.
"Yes, they have two players missing through suspension but their biggest strength is their collective so I think it won't be a factor."
The match - a repeat of the 2013 final won by Spain 4-2 - sees two of the most successful countries at this age group go head-to-head.
The pair have won nine European Under-21 titles between them, five for Italy and four for Spain.
