Stevenage 2-2 Lincoln
Saturday 18 April 2026 17:48, UK
Lincoln’s title celebrations were put on ice but an injury-time goal did earn the already-promoted Imps a 2-2 draw at Stevenage.
They now need just one more point to secure the League One crown for definite but the celebrations on the bench underlined how important this point was.
Rob Street got the goal, a free-kick into the box bounced around but landed at the substitute's feet and he hooked it over Filip Marschall.
The Imps had seen plenty of possession in the second half but Stevenage, who needed a victory themselves in their own play-off race, had coped for long periods.

It finished a breathless game with the tone set by Louis Thompson's superb volley on three minutes, clipping the post on its way beyond the diving George Wickens.
Lincoln responded when Saxon Earley's defensive header fell to Tendayi Darikwa on the right and he fired across the keeper to the far corner.
Back came Boro though on 27 minutes as a low cross from Dan Kemp found a stooping Jamie Reid and he guided it in despite George Wickens getting a hand to it.
Then came the late drama as Lincoln showed their promotion-winning quality.
