Stevenage v Mansfield preview
Monday 9 April 2018 18:08, UK
Manager Dino Maamria could have a fully-fit squad to pick from as Stevenage host out-of-form Mansfield in Sky Bet League Two.
Mark McKee and Dean Bowditch were the only absentees at the weekend, but the pair are close to returns from their respective knee injuries. Boro have won their last two games and are looking to reel off three straight victories for the first time since September.
Maamria named the same side for both wins, so 14-goal striker Matt Godden may have to contend with another appearance from the bench.
Mansfield boss David Flitcroft remains without David Mirfin and Mal Benning as he continues his search for his first win in charge. Mirfin is sidelined following knee surgery while fellow defender Benning serves the final game of his three-match ban.
The Stags sit two points off a play-off place but are without a win since February and have lost their last four games. Saturday's 4-3 defeat against Crewe saw Mansfield concede four goals in the opening 27 minutes. Zander Diamond was substituted soon after while Alfie Potter and Lee Angol were replaced at half-time, and the trio face a fight to keep their places in the starting XI on Tuesday.
