Tykes and Foxes clash in relegation dogfight

Barnsley host Leicester at Oakwell as both sides go in search of precious points at the bottom of the Championship table. The Tykes, who will be safe if they win, will be hoping to turn their dismal home form around after recording just one win in their last five league fixtures on home soil. Ian Holloway's Leicester have won just twice in their last eight league fixtures and will be desperate to notch up three points which are likely to lift his side out of the dreaded drop zone.

Foxes team

Holloway will select from an unchanged squad for his side's crucial relegation clash in South Yorkshire. The Foxes slipped back into the bottom three following Sheffield Wednesday's draw with Plymouth on Monday, but have no fresh injury problems after their own game against already relegated Colchester. Substitute Iain Hume earned City a vital point against the Essex side with an 89th minute equaliser in a 1-1 draw, and Holloway may hand the Canadian a recall to the starting line-up. Captain Stephen Clemence (heel), fellow midfielder Levi Porter (cruciate ligament) and striker Elvis Hammond (knee) remain sidelined and will not feature again before the end of the season.
Tykes team
Influential Barnsley skipper Brian Howard is struggling to shake off a sickness bug in time for the visit of the Foxes. Howard has missed the last three matches through injury and illness and has been forced to sit out training this week. Tykes manager Simon Davey could also be without winger Jamal Campbell-Ryce, who has been nursing a bruised ankle bone in recent weeks. Midfield playmaker Diego Leon has been instrumental in Barnsley's climb away from the drop zone in Howard's absence, and the Spaniard is expected to continue in the starting line-up. Strike pair Daniel Nardiello and Istvan Ferenczi are both expected to start on the substitutes' bench again.
