WATCH: HOURIHANE LEVELS
And here's Conor Hourihane's brilliant free-kick around Raya's wall to give Villa a share of the spoils.
WATCH: DEVILISH DACK
Here's how Bradley Dack's impudence gave Blackburn the lead.
BLACKBURN 1-1 ASTON VILLA
There goes the full-time whistle and Villa had to fight for this point which they just about deserve. Bradley Dack's brilliantly opener cancelled out, in stoppage time, by Conor Hourihane's sublime free-kick. It finishes all square at Ewood Park.
90+4: BOOKED! Reed has a chance to snatch it for Blackburn at the death as he runs onto the loose ball on the edge of the box but he flashes his effort wildly over.
Bolasie is in trouble down the other end going for a 50-50 ball with Raya and picks up a booking.
GOAL! BLACKBURN 1-1 ASTON VILLA (Hourihane , 90+3)
It's some free-kick from Conor Hourihane. We've seen it before from him so we shouldn't be surprised as he bends his shot around the wall low to Raya's right.
He's not getting across there. Another late twist in the Championship.
Muted celebrations from Bruce! Was the wall in the wrong place?
BLACKBURN 1-0 ASTON VILLA
90+2: Grealish uses his body well to win a free-kick from Reed. This is in a good position. Can Villa make it count? Hourihane has eyes on this, his side need something special. 4,000 Villa fans expectant...
90: The fourth official has indicated a minimum of FIVE MINUTES of stoppage time.
89: SAVE! It's a shot which smacks of desperation from Abraham as he speculatively tries his luck from distance but Raya dives onto the ball. Time is ticking away for Villa.
88: SAVE! Mulgrew disguises his free-kick and in fact sweeps his delivery goalbound. Nyland tries to catch it but only manages to spill the ball behind for a corner. Hutton clears Mulgrew's set piece.
86: BOOKED! Harrison Reed has injected energy since coming on for Blackburn but on this occasion he is late in stopping McGinn from breaking. Straightforward booking.
85: Mulgrew's low corner finds its way to Williams but Tuanzebe makes a good block before Bolasie wins the ball cleanly from the falling Brereton.
83: Steve Bruce has written a book on how to get out of the Championship. He's done it four times in the last six seasons, but he's coming under mounting pressure now.
Villa have had their chances in this second half with Abraham having a couple of real good opportunities. Blackburn won't take too many risks from here.
81: Are Villa heading for another set-back? Grealish is crowded out of it before Bolasie gets away from Nyambe but his cross is miscued out of play.
78: SUBS! Bruce makes the changes immediately as Yannick Bolasie and Conor Hourihane replace Elmohamady and Jedinak. Hourihane is straight into the action as his cross just evades Tuanzebe.
BLACKBURN 1-0 ASTON VILLA (Dack, 76)
Blackburn instantly are rewarded as Mulgrew's cross is flicked on by Brereton.
Hutton fails to clear at the far post and Graham recycles before his shot is flicked in by Bradley Dack. Rovers are in front! It was an exquisite touch from the man returning from injury.
BLACKBURN 0-0 ASTON VILLA
74: SUB! Blackburn make the change as Mowbray recognises Villa are on top. Derrick Williams comes on for Armstrong as Rovers go to three at the back to nullify Villa's two up top. It's a battle of wits between the two managers.
72: CHANCE! Blackburn Under 13 head coach George Boateng watches the first team in action against his former club as Tammy Abraham plays a lovely give and go with Adomah before stroking his shot wide. He really needed to force Raya into action there!
It looks like Adomah is in actual fact playing up alongside Abraham with Kodjia on the left.
70: OVER! This is way too easy for Rovers as Reed feeds the overlapping Nyambe, his cross from the right is onto the head of Graham but he can't keep his effort down!
69: SUB! Villa make their first change as Jonathan Kodjia replaces Adomah in a like-for-like alteration. He has three goals in four against Rovers.
67: SUB! It's Richard Smallwood who comes off as Harrison Reed comes on to play alongside Bennett in midfield.
66: There's just been a bit of a lull in play, which you can understand given the break-neck speed of this contest so far. Rovers are readying their second change.
63: Villa break at pace as McGinn exchanges passes with Elmohamady before dragging his left-foot shot wide. The reaction of Abraham tells the story as he feels he was in a good position to take the pass. And he was.
61: Villa have dominated the attempts this second-half with six to Rovers' none so far.
Tore Andre Flo, who is in charge of presiding over Chelsea's loan players this season, is spotted at Ewood Park. Abraham has been at the heart of Villa's resurgence this second period as Tuanzebe blocks a shot from Brereton.
58: SUB! The time has come for Ben Brereton to make his home debut for Blackburn as Corry Evans, on a booking, makes way.
A change of system perhaps for Rovers. Elliott Bennett has been given the message to sit a little deeper alongside Smallwood.
57: CLOSE! Grealish's low corner is flicked on by Elmohamady and James Chester directs his effort, on the bounce, over the bar.
55: CHANCE! This is the chance that Abraham has been waiting for as he gets across Mulgrew to meet Elmohamady's centre but his headed effort is a yard wide of Raya's left-hand post.
54: OFFSIDE! Well worked down the left by Blackburn as Bell combines with Armstrong before the ball is hooked in and onto the head of Graham, but he has just drifted into an offside position before he forces Nyland into tipping his header over the bar.
52: BOOKED! Taylor feeds Grealish and he is barged off the ball by Lenihan. Martin plays the advantage as Abraham's shot is saved by Raya. It's a poor challenge from Lenihan, who goes into the book.
50: Taylor puts the ball into a good area but Adomah doesn't get the contact he's looking for. Villa are now attacking the end housing their supporters.
49: It's a bright start for Villa to this half as Grealish's long ball into the Blackburn box evades Jedinak but is headed over by James Chester in a good position.
48: BOOKED! Corry Evans is booked for cynically stopping McGinn from getting away. It's an unnecessary free-kick and a booking.
47: Dack uses his body so well in what is a physical mismatch with Jedinak to win his team another free-kick. Mulgrew stands over this as Lenihan moves forward from the back once more. Jedinak makes amends to clear.
46: No changes at the break as Dack gets us back underway for Blackburn. Yannick Bolasie was put through his paces out on the pitch throughout the interval.
HT: It's been an entertaining half of football with the only thing missing a goal.
Bradley Dack will feel his header was wrongly ruled out for offside, while John McGinn will have every right to feel he ought to have been awarded a penalty after a challenge from Richard Smallwood.
We await the deadlock being broken at the break.
45: The fourth official has indicated there will be a minimum of one additional minute at Ewood Park. The two sides have been very evenly matched.
44: Teasing ball from Jedinak but Adomah just doesn't quite read the flight of the ball. Ahmed Elmohamad 's cross then deflects off Amari'i Bell and into the arms of Raya.
42: The last team to beat Blackburn here in the league was AFC Wimbledon, but Villa have held their own so far. McGinn gets on the ball and switches the play to Hutton before the ball is patiently worked to Grealish.
Dack wins the ball back, however, and the momentum is lost.
40: Tuanzebe's header is picked up by Smallwood who instantly picks out Armstrong. He looks to cut inside Hutton, and his shot just nicks off the Scotsman's boot behind for a corner.
Mulgrew's delivery is deep but Tuanzebe's shepherds the ball out of play under pressure from Lenihan.
38: Both sides have now had spells and it's been an enjoyable game so far despite it being goalless.
37: WIDE! Jedinak releases Grealish who cuts in from the right before setting up the onrushing McGinn but he gets his shot all wrong as he drags his effort wide of Raya's left-hand post.
35: Blackburn win the free-kick through Graham and Mulgrew will fancy his chances from here. He goes for the low route, it bounces in front of Nyland and he makes a comfortable save.
34: A string of misplaced passes. Poor, poor, poor.
CLOSE! McGinn finds some space and picks out Abraham above Mulgrew but Raya comes up with the goods to make the save!
32: That penalty appeal has just sparked Aston Villa back into life as Adomah gets to the byline but his cross is plucked out of the sky by David Raya.
29: NO PENALTY! Villa look to capitalise on Lenihan's mistake as John McGinn is onto the ball. He cuts inside and is caught by Smallwood as he goes to ground but the referee Steve Martin waves away the protests.
Both sides now feel aggrieved as there was contact on McGinn's ankle. Was he already going to ground? He was in a position to shoot...
28: NO GOAL! Villa, you have been warned. It's whipped in with pace by Mulgrew and it's flicked in by Dack. It's a legitimate goal as Hutton is playing him on but the flag has gone up! It was a very tight decision.
Armstrong is again flagged off moments later when put through - on that occasion it was the right call.
27: Adomah catches Bennett down the right as Blackburn get the free-kick, right in front of the linesman. Sooner or later, Villa will be punished for all these set pieces. Here comes Mulgrew again...
25: Blackburn go direct once more for Graham as he wins the flick from Mulgrew's ball before Elliot Bennett forces James Chester into conceding a throw. He hasn't looked too comfortable at left-back so far.
Dack then shows brilliant footwork through Jedinak that brings a sigh of appreciation from the home fans. It comes to nothing, but what skill from Dack.
22: Roy Keane is up in the stands at Ewood Park, watching Darragh Lenihan. The Blackburn and Republic of Ireland defender has most certainly been throwing himself about so far.
21: Rovers have had 62 per cent of possession in the last 10 minutes as Villa concede another unnecessary set piece.
Mulgrew, serenaded by his supporters, stands over this. It's swung in again towards Lenihan but he can't show any subtlety in heading harmlessly wide.
