HIGHLIGHTS: BRIGHTON 3-1 PALACE
BRIGHTON 3-1 PALACE
It's all over at the Amex Stadium. A quite incredible football match that had everything ends with a memorable victory for 10-man over arch rivals Crystal Palace. Stay tuned for highlights...
90+6: Wan-Bissaka fires a teasing ball across the face of goal which Balogun nearly diverts into his own net. Instead, it goes behind for a corner.
90+5: Zaha floats another cross into the area which Tomkins meets but he merely diverts it into the hands of Ryan.
90+3: Zaha drives at Montoya and wins another corner. he takes the set piece short to Milivojevic, but Brighton swarm around him and clear their lines. They've been up against 10 men for 62 minutes, but Palace simply haven't done enough.
90: There will be FIVE minutes of added time at the Amex. It's now or never for Palace....
WATCH: MILIVOJEVIC CUTS LEAD TO TWO
87: Palace launch a free-kick into the Brighton area but Mat Ryan is on hand to gather and relieve pressure on his defence.
85: A deep ball to the back post is kept alive by Schlupp, who heads the ball into the six-yard box. Palace players are queuing up to head it home but the flight of the ball favours Brighton, who hack the ball to safety.
83: YELLOW! Milivojevic ends up the referee's notebook for bringing Andone to ground before he can break.
GOAL! BRIGHTON 3-1 PALACE (Milivojevic Pen, 81)
Lifeline for Palace! Luka Milivojevic sends Mat Ryan the wrong way, and in an instant Brighton's lead is cut to two. Hold your horses, this is going to be some finish.
BRIGHTON 3-0 PALACE
PENALTY TO PALACE! Balogun dives on Zaha, gets nowhere near the ball and gives the referee no option but to point to the spot.
YELLOW! Bissouma is booked for tinkering with the spot before the penalty is taken.
78: Tempers threatening to flare up once more as Andone dives in on Zaha, who leaves his studs in on the Brighton's forward's knee.
77: YELLOW! Zaha breaks on the counter but is stopped in his tracks by Bernardo, who picks up a booking.
76: Brighton streak forward in search of a fourth. March gathers on halfway and runs forward unopposed before seeing a shot deflect behind for a corner, which comes to nothing.
74: SUB! Second change for Palace as Jeff Schlupp replaces James McArthur.
73: Milivojevic opts to cross rather than shoot from another Palace free-kick but his near-post deliver is headed to safety.
72: Palace win a free-kick 25 yards from goal which Milivojevic takes, but the Brighton wall does its job as his curling effort fails to reach the target.
69: McArthur digs out a cross from the right which Sorloth meets in the area, but there's not enough power on his header to really test Ryan.
67: YELLOW! Zaha pursues March down right but loses his footing and catches the Brighton winger with a sore challenge on his Achilles. Booking.
65: Zaha bursts away from Montoya down the left, knocks the ball past the full-back and draws a foul. He initially stays on his feet but the ball goes out of play before he can regain control. Remarkably, though, referee Friend awards a goal kick, despite Montoya's clear foul on the Palace winger.
63: CHANCE! A cross from the right finds Sorloth in the area and he cushions a great header into the path of Meyer. But just as the German goes to pull the trigger across comes Dunk, who does enough to put Meyer off as he fires a shot into the ground and wide.
61: Townsend is the latest Palace player to fire a woeful effort towards goal. His strike clears the goal by a distance, with the ball landing in the away section behind the goal. The travelling fans choose not to throw the ball back, strange considering their team have just 30 minutes to score three goals.
58: SUB! First change for Palace as Alexander Sorloth replaces Cheikhou Kouyate.
57: Cause for concern on the Brighton bench as Bissouma clutches his groin. They are, of course, down to 10 men and they've used all of their substitutes. If he can't continue, they'll be down to nine men.
56: Zaha cuts in off the left and lays the ball off to Kouyate, whose deflected shot from distance bobbles through to Ryan.
52: Space opens up in front of Milivojevic, but the Palace's captain wildly blazes a shot over the bar. That just about sums up Palace's night thus far.
50: CHANCE! Tomkins is caught in possession deep in opposition territory and Brighton break away on the counter. Andone carries the ball all the way into the area but, instead of squaring, tries to pick out the far corner with a carbon copy if his first goal. It proves to be wrong decision as his wayward shot lets Palace off the hook.
49: SUB! Third and final change for Brighton as Anthony Knockaert replaces Jose Izquierdo, who has failed to shake off a knock picked up at the end of the first half.
48: CHANCE! The onus is on Palace to get themselves back into this game and they make a decent start as Meyer curls a shot wide at the end of a purposeful attack.
KICK-OFF! Palace get the second half underway - just the three-goal deficit to overturn, lads.
WATCH: FLORIN MAKES IT THREE
Where do we begin? Three goals, a penalty, a sending off and two enforced substitutions. All of the above somehow apply to Brighton.
Things seemed a lot simpler when Glenn Murray converted a contentiously-awarded penalty but his appeals for another sparked mayhem.
Shane Duffy saw red for a headbutt on Patrick van Van Aanholt in the ensuing melee before substitute Leon Balogun, brought on in Duffy's absence, scored with his first touch 25 seconds after coming on.
Murray then succumbed to a shoulder injury sustained during that penalty appeal and his replacement Florin Andone fired home a third in stoppage-time. Remarkable!
GOAL! BRIGHTON 3-0 PALACE (Andone, 45+4)
UNBELIEVABLE! Palace push and push to reduce the deficit but leave themselves exposed on the break as Florin Andone chases a lost cause into opposition territory. There's hesitation at the back, Tomkins loses his footing and Andone capitalises, rifling a low shot into the bottom corner from an acute angle to round off a remarkable 45 minutes for Brighton.
BRIGHTON 2-0 PALACE
45+3: CHANCE! The corner is whipped in and falls perfectly for Tomkins on the penalty spot, but the centre-back hooks a shot wide on his unfavoured left foot.
45+2: Palace end the half in Brighton territory as Zaha slips Townsend in behind and the visitors win a corner.
45: There will be FOUR minutes of added time at the end of an extraordinary half of football at the Amex.
43: Townsend registers Palace's second shot on target with a powerful effort from 20 yards which Ryan needs two attempts to bring under control.
39: OFF THE LINE! Brighton deliver a free-kick deep into the Palace area which finds Propper at the back post. He bundles a shot towards goal but Tomkins helps it away.
WATCH: BALOGUN'S INSTANT IMPACT
WATCH: DUFFY SEES RED
WATCH: MURRAY ON THE SPOT
36: OFF THE LINE! Palace so close to reducing the arrears as a ball from the left finds Milivojevic in space on the edge of the area but his goal-bound shot is scrambled off the line by Bernardo.
37: YELLOW! Tomkins sees yellow for a late challenge on March.
35: SUB! Second change for Brighton and it's another enforced one as Glenn Murray succumbs to a shoulder injury picked up from his earlier clash with Tomkins in the area. Florin Andone comes on in his place, with Brighton left with just one substitute for the remaining 55 minutes.
GOAL! BRIGHTON 2-0 PALACE (Balogun, 31)
What a substitution from Chris Hughton and what an introduction from Leon Balogun. Brought on the shore up the Brighton defence, the centre-back doubles their lead with his first touch, volleying his first goal for the club past Hennessey after Palace half clear a corner. Incredible!
BRIGHTON 1-0 PALACE
30: SUB! Brighton forced into a change after Duffy's red. Pascal Gross is the man sacrificed as Leon Balogun enters the fray.
RED CARD FOR BRIGHTON! And it's gone to Shane Duffy! A moment of madness from the Brighton defender and he throws his head into Van Aanholt's face as players clash after Murray penalty appeal. The referee is right on hand and shows no hesitation in brandishing a straight red. Incredible couple of minutes at the Amex.
27: NO PENALTY! Murray brings the ball under control in the Palace area and waits for contact from Tomkins before going to ground. There's arguably more contact than the first penalty but referee Friend is unmoved and waves play on.
