The centre-half has completed a three-match ban and although he is carrying a slight knock, manager Gus Poyet expects him to be fit.
Poyet can hand a debut to striker Fran Sandaza, who arrived from Dundee United last week, while winger Kazenga LuaLua will make his return in Albion colours after rejoining on loan from Newcastle.
