Bury could field virtually a whole new team against Yeovil at Gigg Lane.
Boss Ryan Lowe has made 11 signings since his caretaker role was turned into a permanent appointment in May. New boys Chris Dagnall, Dominic Telford, Gold Omotayo and Jordan Archer are challenging for forward spots, while midfielder Nicky Adams has returned for a third spell with the Shakers.
Will Aimson and Tom Miller could feature in defence after summer moves and Callum McFadzean will be included in the squad after signing a short-term contract this week.
Yeovil manager Darren Way must decide whether Tom James plays in the Sky Bet League Two opener. The Glovers accepted an undisclosed bid from West Brom for the 22-year-old defender this week, but the Welshman failed to agree terms with the Championship outfit.
Summer signings Carl Dickinson, Reece Cole and Gary Warren are all in line to make their debuts. Defender Omar Sowunmi continues to serve a suspension following a red card he picked up at the end of last season.
Bury have won six of their previous eight league meetings with Yeovil (L2).
This is the second time that Yeovil will travel to Bury on the opening day in League Two, with Bury winning 3-1 in August 2004 thanks in part to a brace from David Nugent.
Bury have won all four of their home league meetings against Yeovil, a record that goes back as far as November 2003.
Bury have scored in all eight of their games against Yeovil, whilst Yeovil have only failed to score on one occasion, losing 1-0 at Huish Park in March 2005.
Yeovil have only won two of their nine away opening day fixtures in the Football League (D1 L6) and lost 8-2 to Luton at Kenilworth Road last season.
