    Carlisle v Stevenage preview

Carlisle will be without Jerry Yates for the visit of Stevenage to Brunton Park as he begins a two-match ban.

The striker, who is on loan to the Cumbrians from Rotherham, was sent off for dissent during last Saturday's 1-0 win at Bury and will sit out this weekend's fixture as well as Tuesday night's home clash with Grimsby.

Midfielder Jack Sowerby will hope to retain his place after making a first start for the club he joined on loan from Fleetwood in August at Gigg Lane. Midfielder Mike Jones is closing in on a return from a hamstring injury, but skipper Danny Grainger has suffered a setback in his recovery from a calf problem.

Stevenage have no fresh injury or suspension worries as they look to continue their impressive form. Defender Ben Nugent overcame a minor problem to play 90 minutes of last week's 1-0 win over Grimsby and is likely to continue.

James Ball was an unused substitute after he also limped off in the recent draw at Notts County. Kurtis Guthrie had to settle for a place on the bench against the Mariners following a knock and he will hope to feature more prominently.
