Charlton Athletic and Notts County go into their League One clash at the Valley level on seven points. Kyel Reid and Lee Martin have been passed fit for the Addicks. Winger Reid this week saw a specialist about his ongoing hamstring problem and was given the all-clear to play, while Ipswich loanee Martin has shaken off the knock he sustained against Exeter last weekend. Former County defender Johnnie Jackson is pushing for a recall to the starting line-up after an Achilles problem, while striker Akpo Sodje has shown no ill-effects from the head injury he suffered at St James Park. Skipper Christian Dailly had an operation on his fractured eye socket on Wednesday and will be out for a month. Gary Doherty and Miguel Llera started at the back against Exeter in Dailly's absence, but boss Phil Parkinson may make changes following the 1-0 defeat. Jonathan Fortune, who recently re-signed for the Addicks as a free agent, could be in line for his second debut. Notts County manager Craig Short could name an unchanged side for the first time this season. Last season's top scorer Lee Hughes celebrated his return from a groin injury with a goal in the 4-0 demolition of Yeovil and is expected to keep his place in the starting line-up. The only doubts are striker Karl Hawley (leg) and defender Stephen Hunt, who was left out of the squad last weekend after sustaining a hamstring injury in training. Luke Rodgers has yet to feature this campaign following a pre-season ankle operation but the striker is expected to resume training in the next few weeks.
