Us looking to continue play-off charge against Leeds

Colchester United will be looking to maintain their good run of form against high-flying Leeds United. The Us will be without Johnnie Jackson and Steven Gillespie for The Whites' visit to the Weston Homes Community Stadium. Midfielder Jackson is still sidelined with a hamstring injury and could struggle to feature again this season, while striker Gillespie continues to recover from an ankle problem and will also be unavailable. Recent loan signing Ashley Vincent could be added to the squad for the first time following a knee injury and defender Chris Coyne is back from international duty with Australia in one piece. Boss Paul Lambert is unlikely to make many changes, however, as he looks to make up further ground on the play-off places following the midweek win over Millwall. Centre-half Paul Reid is Lambert's only other injury absentee with the knee injury which brought a premature end to his campaign.

Leeds team news

Fabian Delph is expected to shake off an ankle injury in time to be included in Leeds' starting line-up at Colchester. Delph, named Young Player of the Year at the Football League awards on Sunday, was withdrawn from the England Under-20s squad in midweek. Andy Robinson, Andrew Hughes and Frazer Richardson are all available following injury to give manager Simon Grayson plenty to ponder in terms of team selection, while centre-half Rui Marques has recovered from a hamstring strain. New loan signing Sam Sodje is expected to continue alongside Richard Naylor in the heart of defence following his impressive debut last week against MK Dons. Grayson must decide whether to stick with Luciano Becchio up front alongside leading goalscorer Jermaine Beckford, or hand a starting role to Liam Dickinson, on loan from Derby. On-loan Crystal Palace goalkeeper Darryl Flahavan is not likely to be included in the squad as he is not yet match-fit.
