Highlights of the League One clash between Coventry and Scunthorpe.

Scunthorpe made it back-to-back victories under their caretaker managers as they clinched a 2-1 win at Coventry.

Nick Daws and Andy Dawson presided over last week's comfortable win over Colchester after Mark Robins' departure and they were sent on their way to victory again thanks to Tom Hopper's ninth-minute strike.

The Scunthorpe striker latched on to a loose ball in the box and hammered home from 10 yards.

The visitors could have had more in a first half littered with errors. Peter Ramage's slip allowed Paddy Madden to run clean through on goal but he blasted wide, while Luke Williams saw his curling effort hit the crossbar after Stephen Hunt's mishit.

Coventry started the second half brightly and Adam Armstrong thought he had fired City level, only for keeper Luke Daniels to turn the ball over the bar.

James Maddison whipped in the resulting corner but Swedish full-back Martin Lorentzon headed the ball down and it bounced over.

Despite their pressure, Coventry conceded a second in the 61st minute as Jamie Ness crossed from the right and Murray Wallace headed into the bottom corner.

Armstrong gave the home side hope with an 86th-minute penalty after Maddison was brought down by Ness but the Sky Blues had Romain Vincelot sent off in injury time.
