Crawley's Bondz N'Gala will miss the game against Newport.
The centre-back was sent off for kicking out at Colchester's Luke Norris in stoppage time last weekend and serves the first game of a three-match ban.
Nathaniel George is also set to miss the game with an ongoing injury. Club captain Jimmy Smith remains out for the season after damaging a cruciate ligament earlier in the season.
Robbie Willmott misses out for Newport after he suffered a badly-bruised shin against Stevenage. Boss Michael Flynn said the forward will be missing for "weeks rather than months".
Midfielder Tyreeq Bakinson also looks set to miss the match with a dead leg he suffered in the same game. Winger Keanu Marsh-Brown may return against the Reds but Andrew Crofts is not expected to be fit until next Saturday at the earliest.
After winning each of the first three meetings between Crawley Town and Newport County in League Two, the Red Devils have since lost each of the last three in a row.
Newport have only won one of their three visits to Crawley in League Two (L2), but that was this exact fixture last season, a 2-1 win thanks to a Mickey Demetriou brace.
Since losing their opening home game of the 2018-19 league campaign, Crawley have gone unbeaten in each of their last five on home soil (W4 D1), with victories in each of the most recent four.
Newport have suffered just one defeat in their last 12 league games (W8 D3), and are unbeaten in each of the last five (W3 D2).
With four goals in his three appearances against Crawley in League Two, Newport's Mickey Demetriou has scored more goals against the Red Devils than any other side in the Football League.
