      League Two Dagenham dumped League One Hereford out of the FA Cup with a narrow 2-1 victory at Victoria Road.

      League Two Dagenham dumped League One Hereford out of the FA Cup with a narrow 2-1 victory at Victoria Road. The Daggers were the better team throughout the first half and went ahead when Paul Benson headed Sam Saunders cross home after 17 minutes. A superb strike from Solomon Taiwo made it 2-0 on 33 minutes as the midfielder volleyed home from 30 yards, but Hereford pulled one immediately when Kris Taylor found the net from the edge of the box. The home side could have extended their lead after the break, but Saunders and Matt Ritchie were denied by Bulls keeper Craig Samson. Hereford threatened sporadically in the second half, with Steve Guinan's shot blocked by Tony Roberts their only real opportunity as the Daggers set up a second-round tie with Leicester.
