Jutkiewicz eyeing bow; Beckford banned for visitors

Huddersfield and West Yorkshire rivals Leeds United go head-to-head at the Galpharm Stadium in League One on Saturday. Huddersfield have finalised the loan signing of Everton striker Lukas Jutkiewicz for the rest of the season and the 19-year-old goes straight into the squad to face Leeds. Gary Roberts is expected to be recalled into the starting line-up after missing the last three matches through suspension following his sending off in the 4-2 defeat to Leicester on 24th January. But manager Lee Clark is still awaiting international clearance for new French striker Jonathan Tehoue, who recently signed a short-term deal until the end of the season. He could be included in place of Lionel Ainsworth or Anthony Pilkington, while Keigan Parker and Phil Jevons could be sacrificed if Clark decides to use Roberts in a centre-forward role. Fellow strikers Danny Cadamarteri, out for four weeks with a calf injury, and Andy Booth remain sidelined. Booth, restricted to just five first-team appearances this season owing to a back problem that has required surgery, has returned to full training, but is not yet fit enough to feature.

Leeds team news

Leeds will be without leading goalscorer Jermaine Beckford for their derby clash with West Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield. Beckford has been charged with violent conduct and handed a three-match ban for elbowing Millwall goalkeeper David Forde in Leeds' 2-0 midweek win. Leeds manager Simon Grayson is expected to start with Lee Trundle, on loan from Bristol City, alongside Luciano Becchio up front, with Robert Snodgrass, who started on the wing against Millwall, and new American signing Mike Grella providing alternative options. Skipper Frazer Richardson is still struggling with a thigh injury he sustained at Brighton last month, so Andrew Hughes is likely to continue at full-back. Richard Naylor will retain the captain's armband in Richardson's absence, alongside a rejuvenated Rui Marques in central defence.
