Leyton Orient v Bournemouth preview

Image: Dawson: Leg injury

Team news ahead of Saturday's League One clash between Leyton Orient and Bournemouth at Brisbane Road.

Leyton Orient will once again be without skipper Stephen Dawson. Midfielder Dawson is expected to be out for at least a fortnight after sustaining a leg injury from a bad tackle during last weekend's 3-0 win at Bristol Rovers. Boss Russell Slade could therefore stick with the line-up which got past Dagenham in their FA Cup replay in midweek. However, he will add Andrew Whing to his squad after the on-loan Brighton defender was ineligible to face the Daggers. Lee Butcher continues in goal after Jamie Jones underwent hernia surgery on Monday which will keep him out for around a month. Midfielder Adam Chambers is the only other injury absentee following a recent operation on his calves. Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has no new injury concerns. Howe has players returning from injury to provide competition for places in the Cherries squad with Michael Symes in contention for a recall after returning to full training following a shoulder injury. Marvin Bartley is now fully fit and pushing for a place in the starting line-up, while Harry Arter is also hoping from a promotion from the bench. On-loan striker Nicholas Bignall is likely to keep his place up front with veteran Steven Fletcher having to settle for a place among the substitutes. Shaun Cooper is back in light training, but his calf injury needs to be carefully monitored in the coming weeks before he is considered for a return. Mark Molesley has started running again, although he is some way off full fitness.
