Image: Alnwick: Could return for Orient

Team news ahead of Saturday's League One clash between Leyton Orient and Bury at the Matchroom Stadium.

Ben Alnwick could return for Leyton Orient. The goalkeeper is close to full fitness after almost a month out with a groin problem and this week extended his loan spell from Tottenham until December. Alnwick, one of three Orient keepers struck down by injury this term along with David Button and Jamie Jones (both shoulder), will challenge Lee Butcher for his place between the sticks. The O's have a few injury doubts with defender Ben Chorley, midfielder Jimmy Smith (both thigh) and young forward George Porter (dead leg) all missing the win over Scunthorpe last weekend. French striker Jonathan Tehoue remains a long-term absentee with a broken wrist and is not due back until December. Steven Schumacher could be in line to start for Bury. The midfielder made a return from the bench in last week's victory over Exeter following two months out with a calf injury and he is now pushing for a place in Richie Barker's starting XI. Mark Hughes is also nearing a return to first-team action after eight weeks out with a hamstring injury, though a place on the bench seems the likeliest scenario for the centre-back. Barker has no other selection concerns to contend with and will look to keep changes at a minimum. The Shakers are unbeaten in their last three outings after earning a point against MK Dons and beating Yeovil and Exeter. A win could see them move into the top half.
