Leyton Orient v Millwall preview

Image: Saah: Hamstring strain

Resurgent Leyton Orient host Millwall on Saturday looking to extend a three match winning run.

Saah injured for O's, while Craig suspended for Lions

Resurgent Leyton Orient welcome Millwall to Brisbane Road looking to extend a three match winning run. The O's are up to 19th in the table after putting together back-to-back league wins, while also recording an FA Cup victory over Colchester in-between. Opponents Millwall also go into this game in good form after following up their 3-0 FA Cup victory over Chester with a 1-0 home league win over Stockport last time out.

O's news

Manager Martin Ling is poised to be without the services of key defender Brian Saah for the game. The 24-year-old suffered a hamstring strain in the 2-0 over Crewe last time out and is expected to be sidelined for two to three weeks. It is a big blow for an Orient defence which has not conceded a goal in their last three matches in all competitions. Ling is targeting the match with Northampton on 6th December as a possible comeback date for Saah, with Alton Thelwell likely to fill in to partner Tamika Mkandawire in defence. Wayne Gray (knee) is the only long-term absentee and is still a few months away from a return.
Lions news
Millwall will be without Tony Craig when they make the short trip across London. Craig serves a one-match ban having collected five yellow cards this season to leave manager Kenny Jackett with a defensive headache. Zak Whitbread is still struggling with a groin injury and if, as expected, he is not fit enough to travel Paul Robinson will be Jackett's only recognised centre-half. Full-back Andy Frampton could therefore be drafted into the centre. Midfielder Nadjim Abdou is back from a three-match suspension and former Orient striker Gary Alexander played for the reserves in midweek to build up his fitness following an ankle injury. On-loan Plymouth frontman Jermaine Easter ended his loan spell at The Den on Thursday and joined Colchester.
