Bradford City have activated a £1 release clause in Blackpool goalkeeper Colin Doyle's contract, according to Sky sources.
The 6ft 5in 'keeper, capped once by the Republic of Ireland, will follow goalkeeping coach Steve Banks to Valley Parade.
Despite Blackpool's relegation to League Two last season, Doyle enjoyed an impressive campaign and the Bantams are keen to bring him back to League One next season.
The 31-year-old spent 12 years with Birmingham City but made just 64 appearances, spending most of the period on various loan stints.
A 2015 switch to Bloomfield Road, however, reignited his career and he made 35 appearances for Blackpool across the 2015-16 League One campaign.
Bradford narrowly missed out on promotion to the Championship last season when they lost 4-2 on aggregate to Millwall in the League One play-off semi-finals.
Manager Stuart McCall is keen to strengthen his squad to ensure they can go one step further this season and has already signed defender Nathaniel Knight-Percival on a free transfer from Shrewsbury and midfielder Nicky Law on a free transfer following his release by Rangers.
