Manchester City midfielder Manu Garcia has joined La Liga club Deportivo Alaves on a season-long loan.

The 18-year-old, who arrived at City's youth academy in 2013 from Sporting Gijon, is under contract with the Premier League club until June 2017.

Garcia has made just one Premier League appearance, coming on as a substitute in City's 4-0 win over Aston Villa in March, but the midfielder has been sent out to La Liga to continue his development.
