Hearts have signed defenders Aaron Hughes and Lenny Sowah on deals until the end of the season.
Both arrive at the Scottish Premiership club as free agents, centre-half Hughes after a brief spell in India and left-back Sowah after leaving Hamilton on Hogmanay.
Hughes' CV boasts 455 Premier League appearances and a further 103 international caps - the most of any outfield Northern Ireland player.
Sowah also has Premier League experience with Portsmouth, and the 24-year-old played in Germany and Denmark before joining the Accies in October and playing seven Premiership games.
The two signings come after former club captain Alim Ozturk left earlier in the day to join Turkish side Bulaspor.
