Blackburn have signed goalkeeper Jayson Leutwiler from Shrewsbury for an undisclosed fee.

The 28-year-old has put pen to paper on a two-year contract and is reunited with former boss Tony Mowbray, who signed him for Middlesbrough in July 2012.

He has been signed to replace Jason Steele, who left Ewood Park to join Sunderland last week.
