Andre Dozzell looks set to miss the rest of the season after Ipswich Town confirmed the midfielder has sustained a torn cruciate ligament.

Dozzell, who was part of the England team that won the U19 European Championship last month, was stretchered off at the end of the first half in Ipswich's win over Birmingham on Saturday.

He saw a specialist on Monday and is now expected to undergo surgery next week with a nine-month estimated recovery period.
