Norwich are reportedly tracking Dean Henderson and Danny Ward to solve their goalkeeping problem.

The Canaries are in the market for a new number one, with Angus Gunn having left Carrow Road.

Norwich have Remi Matthews - untried in the Sky Bet Championship and yet to make an appearance for the club - returning from a loan at Plymouth while Michael McGovern can leave.

Backup goalkeeper Paul Jones also spent time on loan at Exeter but would not be considered as first-choice.

According to PA, Manchester United's Henderson is in demand after an impressive season for Shrewsbury, despite their Sky Bet League One play-off final defeat to Rotherham.

He made 48 appearances in all competitions for the Shrews and made his England U21 debut last season. He is out of contract at Old Trafford this summer, although United would be owed compensation.

Liverpool's Ward is known to Norwich sporting director Stuart Webber having joined on loan when Webber was at the Terriers in 2016.

Ward made 46 appearances for David Wagner's side to help them to the Premier League via the Sky Bet Championship play-offs in 2017.

The Wales international made just one appearance for Liverpool last season, their 2-0 Carabao Cup defeat to Leicester.

They are two options for the Canaries with Gunn unlikely to return after a successful loan spell.

England U21 international Gunn, an ever-present who played 51 times for the club, is back at Manchester City.

The 22-year-old, a product of Norwich's youth system before he moved to the Etihad in 2011, has been heavily linked with a loan at Leeds.

Russell Martin, Steven Naismith and Matt Jarvis remain surplus to requirements while Marley Watkins is also expected to leave amid continued interest from Bristol City.
