Skipper to be fit

Czech Republic full-back Zdenek Pospech will miss their opening Euro 2008 match with Switzerland but captain Tomas Ujfalusi will be fit. The Copenhagen defender has been struck down with a virus and Czech spokesman Lukas Tucek confirmed he would not be available. "Pospech has a virus, he has had a high temperature for the past two days. He will not be fit for Saturday's match, he will not go with the team to Basel," Tucek said. "However, he will stay in the squad and we are not planning a change." Star defender Ujfalusi will make the game despite having a slight abdominal strain. Asked if Ujfalusi would miss the match, Tucek added: "No, it is a slight injury." The Czechs face Switzerland in the opening game of Euro 2008 in Basel on Saturday.
