Up to ten targets for South Coast club as they prepare for life in Europe

Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp is set to bolster his squad with reports suggesting he is set capture Nolberto Solano and Peter Crouch. Redknapp is aiming for as many as ten summer signings as he prepares the club for its first-ever European campaign after winning the FA Cup last season. £8 million-rated Crouch from Liverpool is thought to be his primary target and he will that the striker can repeat his success at the club in the 2001-2002 season when he scored 19 goals in just seven months. Redknapp also believed to want winger Solano on a free following the Peruvian's release from West Ham. Several MLS sides are thought to covet the 33-year-old, but he would like to play in England for two more seasons.

Options

The Pompey boss told the Daily Star: "We are working on a few options and seeing what we can do. "It is not a case of looking at one player for each position. We are looking at a few in each area."
