Dutch champions FC Twente will be without young defender Bart Buysse for six weeks through injury.
The 23-year-old sustained the injury training on Tuesday and went to hospital shortly after to undergo further scans.
The club have now confirmed that he will be unavailable for six weeks after tearing ankle ligaments
The former Zulte Waregem starlet will miss the matches against Ajax, Werder Bremen and Tottenham among others.
Manager Michel Preud'homme is disappointed to lose Buysse, but has the likes of Dwight Tiendalli and Nicky Kuiper as possible replacements.
