Leicester have agreed a fee for Bernard Parker as the club also look to tie up a deal for Kyle Naughton.

Eriksson also waits on decision regarding Naughton

Leicester City have agreed a fee with FC Twente for Bernard Parker as Sven Goran Eriksson also looks to tie up a deal for Kyle Naughton. South Africa international striker Parker trained with Leicester prior to Christmas and the Championship club have had an offer accepted. However, Foxes boss Eriksson is still weighing up whether to push through a move for Parker and expects to make a decision later this week. "That depends only on us, whether we decide to do the deal," Eriksson told the Leicester Mercury. "The deal has been agreed and we are going to decide in the next couple of days if we are going to do it or not. "We have agreed a fee with FC Twente, and we will see."

Full-back hope

Eriksson is also anxious to agree a deal with Tottenham for Naughton after the full-back impressed during a loan spell at the Walkers Stadium. The Swede added: "We are trying to sort that out as quickly as possible so he can play against Manchester City. "We want him on the pitch on Sunday, but that is a question between Leicester and Tottenham. He wants to stay. "Buy or loan, one way or the other, whatever for me. I would like to buy him. He is good for now and for the future." Eriksson, though, will be forced to play a waiting game regarding his prospects of keeping on-loan Aston Villa defender Curtis Davies at Leicester. He said. "I think it depends on him and I think he wants to wait and see if a Premier League club comes in for him."
