Roda JC winger no longer in contact with Mowbray

Roda JC winger Anouar Hadouir has not heard anything from Middlesbrough since discussing a deal with Tony Mowbray last month, according to his agent. The 28-year-old is out of contract in Kerkrade this summer and had attracted the attention of several clubs, including Boro and a number of Roda JC's Dutch rivals. Hadouir's agent, Hakim Slimani, claims he was offered a deal by Mowbray in June but could not agree terms and was asked to wait until after Boro had freed up some room in their squad. There has been no further contact and, with Hadouir anxious to resolve his future, other options may have to be explored. "Feyenoord are interested. We're still waiting for a response from Middlesbrough," Slimani told the Sunday Sun. "Anouar went to Middlesbrough and met Tony Mowbray last month and was offered a contract. "But the terms were not right, and the club said they would come back to us after they had managed to sell some players. "We haven't heard anything since."
