Fiorentina goalkeeper Norberto Neto wants to sign a contract extension with the Serie A outfit.

The Brazilian has one year remaining on his current contract with the Viola and hopes to be offered a deal to prolong his stay soon.

"If they (Fiorentina) give me a pen and a paper, I'm ready to sign," he said to Sky Italia.

Fiorentina, however, signed Romanian goalkeeper Ciprian Tatarusanu from Steaua Bucharest and that has led to speculation the club may not have Neto in their long-term plans.

The 24-year-old Neto, who made 35 league appearances to help Fiorentina finish fourth in the 2013-14 campaign, is ignoring media gossip that suggest he is on his way out.

"I've been in Florence for four years," Neto said. "We have truly created a united group in the past two seasons."

Fiorentina, coached by Vincenzo Montella, will compete in the Europa League group stages next season.
