Aston Villa's Gary Gardner has spoken of the benefits of his loan move to Nottingham Forest, which was paid for by the Sky Bet Transfer Fund.
Chelsea's Todd Kane also joined Forest on loan in January after Shaun Lander won £250,000 for his club and £5,000 for himself.
Gardner scored four goals from 16 starts from midfield after making the loan switch and is now targeting breaking into the Villa first team.
The Sky Bet Transfer Fund closes at midnight on June 30, with one of the Football League's 72 clubs set to win the money to spend on players during the summer transfer window.
