Celtic's Moussa Dembele is travelling back to Glasgow after a knee scan in London on Deadline Day.
Sky sources understand the striker is of interest to Chelsea and a picture appeared on social media on Tuesday showing the 20-year-old on board a flight to the English capital.
But Celtic insisted it was to see one of the best doctors in the country about a knee problem, and he is now returning to Scotland.
Dembele tweeted just after 6pm showing his support and commitment for the current runaway Scottish Premiership leaders.
Celtic have also insisted they do not want to sell their top scorer and Sky sources understand it would take a bid of at least £40m for them to even consider a sale.
Dembele, who came close to joining Tottenham during last January's transfer window, has scored 20 goals since joining Celtic in the summer when his Fulham contract expired.
Chelsea were also keen on signing Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon this month only to fail with two offers.
