Neil Ashton will be joined by three new faces this weekend, in the first ever Sunday Supplement Next Generation special.
Jonathan Liew, the chief sports writer at the Independent, Sami Mokbel, football reporter at the Daily Mail, and Vaishali Bhardwaj, sports reporter at the Evening Standard, will be on set to discuss the big football stories from the weekend.
The panel will also share their views on the changing media landscape, what it's like as a young journalist making your way in the business and the impact new technology and social media are having on the profession.
Read on for a quick guide to each of our guests and then tune in to Sunday Supplement on Sky Sports Premier League from 9.30am. You can get involved in the discussions, too, by tweeting @SundaySupp with your views.
Jonathan Liew
Jonathan Liew recently joined the Independent as chief sports writer after eight years at the Telegraph. After graduating from Edinburgh University with a degree in history, he won a place on the Telegraph's graduate trainee scheme, starting out by writing football and cricket reports for the newspaper, and live blogs for the website. Gradually working his way through the ranks, he was named Young Sportswriter of the Year in 2012 and has covered both the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and Euro 2016 in France.
Sami Mokbel
Sami Mokbel's first job in sports journalism was for local newspaper Surrey Comet, where he covered AFC Wimbledon's rise through non-league. From there he joined another local paper, the Croydon Guardian, where he reported on Crystal Palace, dealing with managers Peter Taylor and Neil Warnock. He continued to cover Palace when he switched to the Croydon Advertiser, before moving on to the Daily Star, where he focused on all London-based Premier League clubs. Mokbel joined the Daily Mail in 2011, where he now breaks exclusive stories and has progressed to covering England for the paper; Euro 2016 was his first tournament and he will be at the World Cup next summer, too.
Vaishali Bhardwaj
After studying microbiology and training to become a forensic scientist, Vaishali Bhardwaj decided on a brave career change to pursue her passion: football. Having interned at BBC Sport, The Times and the Guardian, she began covering both Spanish and French football - two leagues she maintains a keen interest in - before specialising in the Premier League. Since joining the Evening Standard in 2015, she has covered London football, in particular Chelsea, for the past two-and-a-half years. This has involved reporting on the goings-on at the club for the website, the newspaper and on TV.
