Listen back to a special edition of The Debate, as Craig Bellamy, Gordon Strachan and Andy Townsend joined Geoff Shreeves to review 2017.
Antonio Conte marked his debut season in charge at Stamford Bridge by guiding Chelsea to their fifth Premier League crown, with the Blues claiming the title by seven points from Tottenham.
Manchester City, with Pep Guardiola at the helm, finished third in the standings and Liverpool completed the top-four positions, and with it securing Champions League football for the first time since 2010.
However, at the bottom of the table, north-east rivals Sunderland and Middlesbrough were relegated, while despite a revival under Marco Silva, Hull City also dropped to the Championship.
The first half of the 2017/18 campaign has seen City's record-breaking run of victories move Guardiola's team well clear at the top of the Premier League.
All that and more in the latest The Debate podcast.
