Newcastle United loan Jamie Sterry out to Crewe Alexandra

Newcastle defender Jamie Sterry has joined Sky Bet League Two side Crewe on loan until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old has made just one appearance under Rafa Benitez this season, in the 3-2 Carabao Cup defeat to Nottingham Forest in August, and he will be now loaned out to continue his development at The Alexandra Stadium.
Sterry spent four months of last season out on loan at Coventry City, where he made 20 appearances.
The right-back is set to link up with fellow United youngster Dan Barlaser, who made his debut for the Railwaymen against Wycombe Wanderers last week.
