Former Liverpool goalkeeper Diego Cavalieri has agreed to join Crystal Palace until the end of the season, Roy Hodgson confirmed.
Brazilian keeper Cavalieri last played for Fluminense last year, having been on Liverpool's books between 2008 and 2010.
He made just eight appearances for Liverpool, though, all of which came outside of the Premier League.
Hodgson is desperate to add cover as he has just two goalkeepers with Wayne Hennessey and Julian Speroni his only first-team options available at the club.
"Everything's been agreed. It's a question of paperwork now," Hodgson said.
Asked if Cavalieri would have much playing time between now and the end of the season, Hodgson added: "We've only got two senior goalkeepers so his chances are great."
Palace have just 10 Premier League matches before the end of the season with the club hosting Manchester United next, live on Monday Night Football.
