Celtic's Scott Brown praises boss Brendan Rodgers for form this season

Celtic captain Scott Brown has credited manager Brendan Rodgers for his form this season which saw him crowned PFA Scotland Player of the Year.
Brown helped Celtic win a seventh league title in a row as well as the Scottish League Cup this season, with the club able to win a second successive domestic treble if they beat Motherwell in the Scottish Cup final on Saturday, live on Sky Sports.
The 32-year-old was also named the Scottish Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year and he has dedicated his individual accolades to boss Rodgers.
Asked how much the Northern Irishman has helped him this season, he said: "Every single bit of it. Brendan's been outstanding since he's come in; the bond between the two of us is very tight and we've got on very well on and off the park.
"I think he wants everyone to push to new levels and he's a very honest person and tells you [things] sometimes you don't like it but honesty is the best policy.
"He came after being a great manager at Liverpool, pushing them for the league so he could've brought in whatever players he pretty much wanted.

"But he stuck by me and he put a lot of faith in me so it's time for me to repay him."
The midfielder has played 55 times for Celtic this season and he has only failed to complete 90 minutes twice having started in all of his appearances.
"For me, it's been a fantastic season," he said. "To push on, play 60 games every season, let's see how long I can do it for.
"I think, I feel as fit as I ever have done. I've stayed injury free.
" Lucky enough for me, there's been a few dodgy tackles here and there but I've managed to get through them and continue playing."
