France

Everton have accepted a £26m bid from Paris Saint-Germain for defensive midfielder Idrissa Gueye, but the two parties are yet to agree on how the deal will be structured in terms of instalments. (Yahoo France)

French champions PSG face competition for Gueye's signature, with Premier League teams interested in the 29-year-old former Aston Villa man. (RMC)

Spain

Real Madrid have identified 21-year-old Serbian striker Luka Jovic as the ideal long-term replacement for Karim Benzema. Jovic, who is currently on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt from Benfica, is the Bundesliga's top scorer this season with 13 goals. (AS)

Paris Saint-Germain, embittered by losing out to Barcelona in the signing of Frenkie de Jong, will go all out to land Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt, also a Barcelona transfer target, in the summer. (Mundo Deportivo)

Barcelona have reached a "total agreement" with left-back Jordi Alba over a new contract, extending the Spain international's stay at the Camp Nou to 2024. (Cadena SER)

Italy

Holland

Inter Milan will send representatives to Holland in the coming days to discuss the possible purchase of PSV winger Steven Bergwijn, who is also a Manchester United transfer target. The Dutch club will only sell the 21-year-old for a fee higher than their current record sale, set by Memphis Depay's £25m move to Old Trafford in 2015. (Voetbal International)

Porto have given up hope of signing Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham this month, with the Portuguese side deeming the Scottish champions' £17.5m asking price for the former Manchester City youngster too high. (A Bola)
