Werder Bremen celebrated their 120th anniversary in style, scoring three first-half goals on their way to a comfortable 4-0 Bundesliga victory over Augsburg.

The home side, wearing a one-off kit as part of their celebrations, took just five minutes to open the scoring, with Milot Rashica drilling in a shot from a Davy Klaassen pass.

Bremen scored two goals in as many minutes midway through the half as Johannes Eggestein doubled the advantage and Rashica left a defender on the floor before curling a stunning effort past the goalkeeper.

The Kosovo forward limped out of the action in the 36th minute, but Bremen went on to add a fourth goal through his replacement Kevin Mohwald in the closing stages.

Fortuna Dusseldorf put more distance between themselves and the bottom three with a 3-0 win over Stuttgart.

Kenan Karaman headed in the opening goal from a Dodi Lukebakio cross after 34 minutes and midfielder Oliver Fink made it two early in the second half with a superb curling shot into the top corner.

Substitute Benito Raman sealed a convincing victory with a third five minutes from time, neatly chipping the ball over the keeper.
