Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku could be on his way to Inter Milan in the summer, with Neymar, Arsene Wenger and Saul Niguez also featuring in headlines from around the continent.

Italy

Romelu Lukaku could be an Inter Milan transfer target, with Mauro Icardi reportedly pushing to have knee surgery. If it's decided that the striker does indeed need it, then Inter will be looking for new strikers for the start of next season, and Lukaku is on their list, along with Atalanta's Duvan Zapata. Gennaro Gattuso will be offered a new contract if he gets AC Milan into the Champions League for next season. Germany

Newcastle are close to signing 22-year-old Hoffenheim forward Joelinton for what could be a record fee. The amount reported is €60m (£52.1m), which would be over double the club's current record transfer fee, the £20m spent on Miguel Almiron this January. (Sport 1)

Bayern Munich's Rafinha has spoken out about his current role in the team. The 33-year-old is unhappy that he has often been left on the bench. "Since I said in January that I'm leaving, I'm not playing anymore," he said after Bayern Munich's 1-0 win over Hertha Berlin on Saturday. (Bild)

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has rejected reports that the club are interested in bringing in Arsene Wenger. Al-Khelaifi affirmed that he has faith in current sporting director Antero Henrique, who, according to rumours, could have been replaced by the former Arsenal manager. (Telefoot)

Marseille made an approach for Strasbourg full-back Kenny Lala in January. Lala has eight assists in Ligue 1 this season (the same number as star Lyon forward Memphis Depay) and admitted that he had been approached by Marseille. (Telefoot)

Spain

Real Madrid have been warned off Neymar by PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi. "Real Madrid know that Neymar is not for sale this summer," he has said, while also assuring fans that the club have a good relationship with Kylian Mbappe. (Marca)

Barcelona are interested in signing Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez, and are willing to pay €110m (£95m) to get him. Saul has been a Barcelona transfer target for a couple of years, and the rumoured fee would make the Atletico ace the most expensive Spanish player in history. (AS)

Ivan Rakitic has said that he'd like to stay at Barcelona, despite rumours linking him with a possible move to Inter Milan this summer. After the club's 4-2 win over Sevilla, Rakitic clarified that he'd like to stay at Barcelona for the remainder of his contract, which lasts for another three years. (Marca)
