The domestic seasons are coming to an end across Europe, which means clubs are increasingly turning their attention towards the upcoming transfer window.

With that in mind, we asked our friends at Football Whispers to round up all the latest news, views and gossip from across the continent.

Spain

Real Madrid will target Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek if they are unsuccessful in their bid to bring Manchester United's Paul Pogba to the club. The Dutchman has excelled in Ajax's run to the Champions League semi-finals and could command a fee of €60m (£51.1m). Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are also interested in the 22-year-old. Gareth Bale has been left out of Real Madrid's squad ahead of Sunday's La Liga game against Villarreal, further fuelling rumours that he is set to leave the club in the summer. (AS)

Arsenal's Alexandre Lacazette is on Barcelona's radar after a strong season at the Emirates. The Frenchman has scored 18 goals in all competitions this season and has the same advisor as former Barcelona defender and current technical secretary Eric Abidal, which would likely help with any potential negotiations. Barcelona are expected to exercise their buy-back option for Eibar left-back Marc Cucurella in the summer. The 20-year-old has impressed in La Liga this season, making 28 appearances, and could return to the Nou Camp for a little as €4m (£3.4m). (Marca)

Italy

Juventus could let Manchester City transfer target Joao Cancelo leave for €50m (£42.6m) this summer. The Portuguese right back could make the switch to the Premier League champions having struggled to settle in Turin. (Gazzetta dello Sport)

Nice winger Allan Saint-Maximin has fuelled speculation linking him with a move to Milan, claiming that he is "ready to step up and join a more prestigious side". The 22-year-old, who has six goals and three assists to his name in Ligue 1 this season, was on Milan's shortlist back in January. (Gazzetta dello Sport)

Inter will make Diego Godin the highest paid player in their squad when the centre back joins from Atletico Madrid in the summer. Godin, who was also a Manchester United transfer target and wanted by Juventus, is expected to earn €6.75m (£5.7m) at the San Siro. (Calciomercato)

Germany

Bayern are interested in Ajax forward Dusan Tadic, who has scored 31 goals in all competitions for the Dutch club this season. The former Southampton man could be available for €16m (£13.6m). (Sky Sports in Germany)

France

Jose Mourinho, who has been touted as the next AS Roma manager, will only join the Serie A club if they qualify for next season's Champions League. Paris Saint-Germain had been seen as a potential next destination for the Portuguese coach, but Roma have offered him a three-year contract. (L'Equipe)

Nice have denied reports that highly-rated full-back Youcef Atal could be on his way to Bayern. "Players like Herelle or Atal are not for sale," Nice sports director Gilles Grimandi said. (L'Equipe)

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has sent his scouts to watch Olympique Lyon's Ferland Mendy as he searches for a new left-back. Bayern's David Alaba could also be a Real Madrid transfer target in the summer. (France Football)

Portugal

Manchester United have sent scouts to watch Sporting's Bruno Fernandes in action. The midfielder, who has scored 28 goals and provided 16 assists this season, is believed to be a prime target for the Red Devils. (Record)
