Pep Guardiola has dismissed suggestions that he is planning to take a break from football.
After winning two Premier League titles, two League Cups, an FA Cup and the Community Shield in his three years at Manchester City, reports have claimed Guardiola could take a sabbatical if they win the Champions League next season.
The 48-year-old took a similar break from football after leaving Barcelona before taking charge of Bayern Munich in 2013.
Speaking to Spanish newspaper Marca at a golf event in Spain, Guardiola said: "No. I do not take sabbatical years. I am young and I have desire."
"The news comes out and many things are not true. If they do not kick me out, I'll stay there."
Guardiola, who has two years left on his contract at the Etihad Stadium, also denied speculation linking him with Juventus. He insisted his focus is on winning the Champions League with City.
"We all want to win the Champions League because it is the most beautiful thing," he added. "The important thing is to try again and in our case we will do it again.
"If we fail, we will try again, as the important thing is to be there until the end."
