Next Saturday's 3pm kick-offs in the EFL will be moved to avoid clashing with the funeral of the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip.
As British football paid tribute to His Royal Highness, who passed away at the age of 99, on Saturday by observing silence and players wearing black armbands, the Palace announced details of the ceremony.
It will take place at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle at 3pm, when a national minute's silence will be observed, on Saturday April 17, and will not involve any members of the public.
The Premier League is also liaising with the Palace, Government and relevant authorities about next weekend's fixtures.
An EFL spokesperson said: "As a mark of respect, EFL matches scheduled for 3pm on Saturday 17 April will be moved to avoid a clash with the funeral.
"The EFL will now work with its clubs to determine at what time the matches will be played, giving consideration to the timing of the service. An announcement will follow in due course."
There are only two Premier League games fixtured for Saturday April 17; Newcastle against West Ham from 12.30pm and Wolves against Sheffield United from 3pm.
In the Championship, Norwich can clinch promotion with victory over Bournemouth but they are not set to kick-off until 8pm. There are eight 3pm kick-offs in the division that day including Brentford against Millwall and Swansea against Wycombe.
In League One, Hull can move closer to promotion with victory over Fleetwood while in League Two, leaders Cheltenham will be looking to do the same when they visit Crawley Town.
