Rafael van der Vaart has rubbished reports suggesting he has been contacted by Queens Park Rangers.
A reunion with his former Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp at Loftus Road has been mooted for Dutch playmaker Van der Vaart.
He is currently taking in a second spell at Bundesliga side Hamburg, but has been unable to improve their fortunes and only narrowly avoided relegation in 2013/14.
A summer switch has been hinted at, with a return to England considered to be the most likely option.
Van der Vaart is, however, adamant that no move has been discussed with QPR.
The 31-year-old midfielder told BILD: “Harry Redknapp has not been in touch with me. He has not phoned me.
“In football you never know, but so far we have not been in touch.
“Harry Redknapp and I enjoyed a really great relationship back at Tottenham. He is a top-quality manager.
“I was in great form back then. I scored 12 (Premier League) goals in one season and I netted 13 in the other season.”
