Sky Sports La Liga Power Rankings: Goncalo Guedes ranks above Lionel Messi again

Valencia's Goncalo Guedes has topped the Sky Sports La Liga Power Rankings ahead of Lionel Messi for a second week running.

The midfielder, on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, retained his place atop the rankings - despite only recording 1,321 points during a 2-1 win at Alaves.

Team-mate Simone Zaza (No 4, no move) scored his ninth goal of the season, before Spain international Rodrigo (No 13, down six places) converted a second-half penalty to secure three points.

Messi (No 2, up one place) was back among the goals after breaking the deadlock at Athletic Bilbao, before Paulinho (No 67, up 114 places) doubled Barcelona's lead to claim a 2-0 win.

Barca stopper Marc-Andre ter Stegen (No 3, up eight places) maintained his fine form at San Mames, while Atletico Madrid 'keeper Jan Oblak (No 7, down five places) remains among the top performers after a 1-1 draw against Villarreal.

Deportivo La Coruna midfielder Celso Borges (No 6, up 57 places) netted twice at Las Palmas, while Isco (No 5, up 12 places) is the only Real Madrid player to make the top 50 following a 2-1 defeat at Girona.

Celta Vigo forward Iago Aspas (No 9, up four places) bounced back into the top 10, levelling the scores against Malaga before his side conceded a late penalty.

Elsewhere, Real Sociedad youngster Mikel Oyarzabal, 20, (No 10, up five places) scored an early opener during a 2-1 defeat at Getafe, while Villarreal's Cedric Bakambu slipped two places to No 8.
