Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas insists Pep Guardiola will "test himself" in the Premier League at some stage of his career.

Guardiola's contract at Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich runs out in the summer, and his former player Fabregas is in "no doubt" a move to England could be on the cards in the future.

Bayern's chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge suggested at the weekend that a decision on Guardiola's future - one way or another - would be made before the Bundesliga's winter break.

Fabregas told Spanish radio station Onda Cero: "I have absolutely no doubt that Pep will test himself in the Premier League.

"I have spoken to him in the past and I know that he likes it a lot."

Guardiola has led Bayern to back-to-back Bundesliga titles, while they are five points clear at the top of the table this season.

His agent, Josep Maria Orobitg, told Munich's Tz newspaper earlier this week that he does not know what his decision is going to be.

"Not even I know what Pep's intentions are," Orobitg said. "We've had some intensive talks in the past few days, but when it comes to things like this, he's very private.

"He will make up his mind entirely based on his own impressions."
