Who will be the next West Ham manager following Slaven Bilic's sacking? We take a look at the favourites...

Bilic leaves the Hammers third from bottom following Saturday's 4-1 defeat to Liverpool, with Sky Bet considering them 2/1 third favourites for relegation.

Here's a look at who Sky Bet consider the most likely contenders to be tasked with steering the Hammers away from the drop-zone...

David Moyes - 1/20 with Sky Bet

The former Manchester United and Everton manager is odds-on for the position amid reports that he has already held talks with the club, even before Bilic's sacking was confirmed. However, there is little to suggest how those discussions have gone and the fact that he was not immediately announced as replacement means there remains a possibility of an alternative successor.

Moyes provide the sort of stability Hammers fans dream of during his 11-year stint at Everton, although his stock has fallen since with unsuccessful spells in charge of Manchester United, Real Sociedad and Sunderland.

Ronald Koeman - 7/1 with Sky Bet

Koeman is the early mover in the market, being backed in from 25/1 to 7/1 since Bilics's departure. The Holland legend is available having been relieved of his duties by Everton following a disappointing start of the season. The Toffees were in the same position which the Hammers now find themselves in when Koeman departed, but the money now suggests his is the most likely alternative to Moyes.

Alan Pardew - 14/1 with Sky Bet

If the Hammers are looking for a man to make an impact then Pardew has a track record of recent short-term success, having led Crystal Palace clear of relegation when he took over in January 2015. He also enjoyed an impressive start in his previous stint in charge at West Ham as he secured promotion before leading them to the 2006 FA Cup final, but he was sacked just over six months later due to a poor start to the following campaign.

Carlo Ancelotti - 16/1 with Sky Bet

It is remarkable to think someone of Ancelotti's pedigree is available, but a return to the Premier League could be on the cards after he was sacked by Bayern Munich in September. Whoever gets the 58-year-old will get a three-time Champions League winner and league winner in Italy, France, England and Spain. The question is, would he fancy a Premier League relegation battle?

Roberto Mancini - 16/1 with Sky Bet

Mancini previously managed in England with Manchester City, with whom he won the Premier League title - Sergio Aguero clinching the title in memorable fashion with virtually the last kick of the 2011-12 season. He is currently in charge of Zenit St Petersburg in Russia but is often linked with a return to England. The rescue mission needed at West Ham would be considerably different to the cash-rich situation he found himself in at City though.

Manuel Pellegrini - 20/1 with Sky Bet

Another Premier League winner, Pellegrini won the title with Manchester City in 2014 but left when Pep Guardiola became available. He is currently with Hebei China Fortune but, like Ancelotti, is a seasoned winner all over the world.

Chris Coleman - 20/1 with Sky Bet

Coleman has yet to decide whether to pen a new deal with the Welsh Football Association after Wales missed out on the World Cup. His stock is high after taking Wales to the semi-finals of Euro 2016 and this could be a position that might appeal to him.

Sean Dyche - 25/1 with Sky Bet

Burnley's boss celebrates his fifth anniversary at Turf Moor this month and continues to enhance his reputation as one of the finest English managers around. The Clarets have won promotion twice under his watch, and look on course to survive in the top flight for a second straight year after a strong start to the season. That cannot have gone unnoticed further up the pyramid and though West Ham are beneath Burnley currently, their potential may tempt Dyche.
